Prof. Francisco Carmona, SPAIN

Francisco Carmona is the Chief of the Service of Gynecology of the Hospital Clínic in Barcelona and the Director of the Endometriosis Unit of such hospital. He is full Professor of the University of Barcelona’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has published more than 160 papers in journals with peer review and Impact Factor (IF) including also generalist journals as N Engl J Med and Lancet; his total IF is more than 800 with 33 as h index. He has published more than 65 book’s chapters (9 in international works) and 8 complete books. He is reviewer of almost 30 scientific journals and member of the Editorial Board of Medicina Clínica and Editor in Chief of Clínica e Investigación en Ginecología y Obstetricia. He has participated in 279 courses or congresses (95 international) with outstanding participation in 94 of them (51 international); he has given 297 lectures (118 in international events). He is Académico Correspondiente by election of the Real Academia de Medicina de Cataluña.
