Prof. Eric Jauniaux, UK

Professor in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine, EGA Institute for Women Health, Faculty of Population Health Sciences, University College London (UCL) Has worked for over 30 years on placental and fetal development and on the diagnosis and management of placental related- complications of pregnancy. He is the author/co-author of over 450 peer-reviewed original articles and has edited/co-edited 14 books. His current H-score is 101 and a total of 40,459 citations. In 1992, my novel findings on placentation drew the attention of Prof Robert Edwards (University of Cambridge; Nobel Prize in Medicine 2010), with whom he edited the book Embryonic Medicine & Therapy (OUP 1997) and co-founded in 2000 Reproductive Biomedicine On-line. He was the first section editor of Reproductive Bio-Medicine on-line 2000-2012.
