MD, PhD, FACOG, FRCSC, Is currently Professor and Division Head of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. Dr Bedaiwy is double board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He is also a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr Bedaiwy received his medical degree from Assiut University School of Medicine, Egypt where he graduated Valedictorian, summa cum laude.
